What is melamine?
Melamine is a thermosetting plastic resin. It is a material widely used in manufacturing many products, due to its high resistance to impact and breakage. This is why it is a widely used material for tableware. Melamine tableware is very resistant to falls and cracks, and can be made to look like porcelain, wood, concrete, mineral, slate, sandstone, etc. It is easy-care, as melamine tableware is dishwasher proof.
Why choose a melamine plate or tableware?
More resistant to scratches than a traditional plate, it is widely used in restaurants, both on restaurant tables and by caterers, event organisers, etc. for the presentation of dishes on tables or buffets. Melamine dishes and trays are also used for refrigerated counters in butcheries, pastry shops, bakeries, cheese shops, caterers, etc.
The wide choice of design, appearance, style, dimensions, sturdiness and durability are many advantages! In addition, you can choose a matching tray, bowl or salad bowl, and vary your tableware according to your decoration or theme. There are also many melamine accessories to manage your presentation, as well as melamine serving spoons.
Please note that melamine tableware should not be placed in a conventional oven or microwave.
