The samovar: the first device to heat water for tea
The samovar closely linked to the ritual of tea for centuries in Russian and Middle Eastern culture, in Armenia as well as in India, expresses the quintessence of what can be obtained from tea. It allows offering quality tea, always hot. Whatever the samovar model, the samovar operation is always the same: the lower part of the samovar allows you to boil water; the upper part, the teapot, to obtain a concentrated tea which is served by diluting it with boiled water, thanks to the tap in the lower part. Placed on the samovar, the small teapot with the tea extract will keep the tea warm, so the samovar allows each user to obtain concentrated tea according to their wishes. The samovar can also be used for the preparation of herbal teas.
