18/10 quality stainless steel. Outside and inside satin polished. Non-drip edge. Hollow tubular stay cool handles in stainless steel, ergonomically shaped. Uniform thickness in sides and bottoms. Sandwich thermoradiant bottom (stainless steel - aluminum - stainless steel). Concave bottom when cold and flat when hot (100% heat exploiting).
Perfect for use on any type of stove, whether gas, electric, glass ceramic cooking surface or induction stove. All items have an induction suited sandwich bottom.
The lid for this saucepot, which can be used with all Paderno 16 cm diameter cookware, is available under Art. Nr. 11061-16, or 11161-16 if you prefer a model with a tubular handle (cold handle).
These stainless steel sauté pans are available in different diameters: 16 cm, 18 cm, 20 cm, 24 cm, 28 cm, 32 cm and 36 cm.
A sauté pan and a saucepan are both cooking utensils, but they have some differences: the sauté pan is often used for searing and browning food over a high heat, thanks to its larger cooking surface, while the saucepan, which is more versatile, can be used for boiling, simmering, steaming and so on. Sauté pans often have a longer handle than saucepans, which makes them easier to handle when cooking over high heat.
Stellinox does not offer cookware with detachable handles.
