Professional stainless steel low saucepot, diameter 45 cm, height 27 cm, capacity 42.9 L.

Satin stainless steel inside and outside. Non-drip rim. This large pot has tubular handles that stay cool during cooking. Uniform thickness on sides and base.

Sandwich" diffuser base: 18/10 stainless steel, aluminium, 18/10 stainless steel. The base is concave when cold and flat when hot (100% heat use). This stainless steel pot is perfect for use on all types of stoves : gas, electric, vitroceramic and even induction.

Description

The lid for this saucepot, which can be used with all Paderno 45 cm diameter cookware, is available under Art. Nr. 11061-45, or 11161-45 if you prefer a model with a tubular handle (cold handle).

What's the difference between a stock pot and a saucepot ? saucepots are generally wider and shallower and are mainly used for cooking meat and vegetables over a low heat in a liquid, usually after the food has been browned. The stockpot is deeper and generally narrower than the saucepot. Saucepots are often used to boil large quantities of liquid, such as water for cooking pasta, soups or broths.
