Stainless steel high low saucepot Russian model Ø 50 cm, height 30 cm, capacity 58 L.

18/10 quality stainless steel, outside and inside satin polished. Non-drip edge. Hollow tubular stay cool handles made of stainless steel, ergonomically shaped. Uniform thickness in sides and bottoms. Sandwich thermoradiant bottom (stainless steel - aluminum - stainless steel). Concave bottom when cold and flat when hot ; 100% heat exploiting.

Perfect for use on any type of stove, whether gas, electric, glass ceramic cooking surface or induction stove. All items have an induction suited sandwich bottom.

Description

The lid for this saucepot, which can be used with all Paderno 5 cm diameter cookware, is available under Art. Nr. 11061-50, or 11161-50 if you prefer a model with a tubular handle (cold handle).

What's the difference between a stock pot and a saucepot ? saucepots are generally wider and shallower and are mainly used for cooking meat and vegetables over a low heat in a liquid, usually after the food has been browned. The stockpot is deeper and generally narrower than the saucepot. Saucepots are often used to boil large quantities of liquid, such as water for cooking pasta, soups or broths.
